Police Report Rough Draft

On February 18, 2011, at 2:45 A.M. a 911 emergency call was received at the Bloomington-Normal Police Dispatch Center about a car accident on Main St. and College Ave.  The accident involved a Cadillac Escalade and a Chevrolet Cavalier.  The driver of the Escalade was under the influence of alcohol and was traveling south at an estimated 65 mph.  The woman in the Cavalier had a green light and proceeded to turn left onto Main St. when the Escalade struck the vehicle from the rear.  The victim’s vehicle was flipped several times until it landed in a ditch.  The victim was not wearing their seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle and suffered a broken neck, 3 broken ribs and a broken leg.  The driver of the Escalade was not thrown from the vehicle and sustained a concussion and a broken arm.  Both are being treated at a nearby hospital for their injuries and are to be released soon.

Chief of Police,

James Conway

I still have to add names, an eye-witness report, a header, the BAC level, the hospital (St. Joseph Medical Center)
